I installed opensim on a local machine following your tutorial. Relly good!. I have an issue though, the prims are phantom when i rezz them. Have no clue if that has to do with the simulator physics or is a parameter on the create prim dialog.
Nicco, yeah, that is because we used all defaults in order to focus on build and clothing/skin previews. You sound like you might want ODE physics. Until I can talk about that more, have a look at http://opensimulator.org. Be warned it is still very slanted toward developers over users, but does talk about physics there. Maybe I will do just how to change to better physics in the next Run Opensim tutorial.
